BIOGRAPHY

Xanvier Allison

Xanvier Allison is a French-Algerian director and visual artist

whose work sits at the intersection of raw human intimacy and

architectural abstraction. Born in Paris in 1981, he studied

cinematography at La Fémis before emerging on the

international stage with his debut feature Les Ombres

Blanches (2009).

His films have screened at Venice, Cannes, and Sundance,

garnering acclaim for their stark visual language, deliberate

pacing, and unflinching emotional precision. Ferragut's

commercial work spans fashion, luxury, and culture —

collaborating with houses including Dior, Saint Laurent, and

Bottega Veneta.

He currently divides his time between Paris and Los Angeles,

developing a new feature and a long-form documentary series

on African cinema heritage.
